About One Big Step Foundation
Education: Education policies within the United States make it difficult
for immigrants and low socioeconomic classes to further their education.
Simultaneously, homeless individuals find it difficult to find jobs due to lack
of training and work experience. One Big Step provides the stepping-stones that
allow any and all individuals to partake in an educational program where they can
learn a multitude of things from our highly qualified teachers and tutors.
Art: Art is expression – of any kind. Without expression, we can’t be ourselves.
Art allows us to move closer towards our true self. Through utilizing art with expression,
movement, and stillness, together we move one big step towards happiness and healthiness.
One Big Step Foundation is passionate about utilizing art to understand culture.
Culture: With migration, movement, and time, culture becomes an ever-changing factor.
Art can be used as a medium to understanding and connecting with culture. Through understanding culture,
we begin to understand ourselves. Through understanding ourselves, we become more self aware and mindful.
One Big Step Foundation aims to better lives with programs that can better improve all aspects of life through
confidence building skills, training, and education through art and culture.
